Canadian Federation of University Women of Oshawa and District

CFUW Oshawa & District is an organization of university women graduates and associates who live in the Bowmanville, Oshawa, Whitby, and Port Perry area of Durham Region, Ontario. Our club is one of 122 clubs in Canada. The CFUW/FCFDU is one of 71 affiliates of the International Federation of University Women and its 180000 members. CFUW/FCFDU is a Non-Government Organization in consultation status with the United Nations (ECOSOC).

Club’s purpose:

1. To stimulate the interest of members in public affairs, and to afford an opportunity for the experience of united opinion
   
2. To promote higher education and to encourage research work
   
3. To facilitate social intercourse and cooperation between women of different universities throughout the world.
